3⭐️ I think I would’ve rated this higher had it not been an audiobook read for me. Still liked it though!!
Lightlark by Alex Aster
3.8⭐️ The betrayallllll I wished some of the pacing was a little faster but I was still pretty hooked! Excited to read the rest of this series!
Yours Truly by Abby Jimenez
4⭐️ I have to say, I think I like the almost ending better than the actual ending, but I get it. This was a really good fake dating though!!
Daydream by Hannah Grace
3⭐️ So I really liked this book when I first started it, and then I got really bored really fast and then at the end it picked up a little bit and then I kinda got bored and sidetracked during the ending so I would definitely give it just an average three stars. I liked it but I found myself wanting more at times.

3.75⭐️ Where the previous book was frustrating in a way I appreciated, this book was frustrating in a way I did not. The previous book showed great character development and complexities that left the reader frustrated but with purpose and understanding. In this book, the development fell flat and I found myself more annoyed than ever at the characters and plot development. It was a well written book, and it definitely set up the finale of the series as was intended. But felt as though it dragged on at times unnecessarily and really slowed down the flow of the story of what is usually a well-paced series. I didn’t hate it, but it’s definitely my least favorite book so far.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallowsby J.K. Rowling
3.5⭐️ I have a lot of mixed feelings on this book and how the series ended. Overall, I enjoyed the story. Although the pacing was a bit slow and dragged out at times, overall the plot made sense to me and I was content with the way the story was wrapped up. The character development though… the character development was so infuriating throughout this book!! I felt like the characters had regressed significantly from where they were at the end of the 5th book. There were so many problems they faced that were so similar to previous problems they faced and supposedly learned from that they showed they actually didn’t learn anything at all! And there was so much conflict that was created between characters that I felt was just glazed over or abandoned altogether by the time the conclusion rolled around. I also felt like the ending after the final battle was rushed in a way that the author just wanted to end the book. It didn’t feel as satisfying as I had hoped with a lot of loose threads left that I wish were addressed. Overall, I enjoyed the series, especially the first half! I’m glad I finally picked it up and can definitely understand the hype. As it progressed though (specifically books 6 and 7) I just found it more annoying and a chore than anything. Excited to rewatch the movies now with more context and will be curious to see how HBO interprets this story in their new series!
