3⭐️ Okay I didn’t mind this book, I thought I wasn’t going to love it and I guess I didn’t love it but I did enjoy it and it got better for me as the story went on. I am curious as to what will happen next…. The dark spice is not really my thing but I am intrigued by the actual plot and what’s going to happen also rip to our sweet protector. My fav character already gone :/

3⭐️ Slightly let down with this book, I had pretty high hopes. I think Annie is a phenomenal podcaster, but I’m not sure her thoughts translated as well in written form. I still got some good nuggets out of it and I am a big cheerleader of having yourself a hobby. However, in reflecting on the book, it’s hard to pick out what was important to Annie and the story because it felt a bit discombobulated. Glad I read it, and glad I have some hobbies that bring me close to the feeling of Eden and God.

4⭐️ Is it the best book ever written? No. Was the plot questionable sometimes? Yes. Did I still eat it up and leave no crumbs? Absolutely! What I love so much about the books in this series is the attention to detail of the stories the author is reimagining. The Easter eggs, both big and small, are so masterfully woven throughout the story and I LOVE FINDING THEM!! That’s truly what sets these books apart for me.

2.75⭐️ This was really a 2.75, but I rounded up. This book was a bit of a let down. I was hoping for more self help tips and tricks on how to make time for fun in my day to day life, but ended up feeling like I was reading someone’s diary instead. There were definitely some good tidbits I pulled from this book and some of the connections Annie made definitely hit home for me! But overall, I feel like the points she was trying to make got lost in the many stories she told and didn’t always connect to the greater plot of the book. I wish I learned more to make this read worth while for me.
